  Day 1:

Pick up NJP drive Gangtok, 126kms, and 4 hours.
Bagdogra is the nearest Airport where as NJP (New Jalpaiguri) is the closest Railway Station to Sikkim. Drive to Gangtok passes through a lush green vegetation adjacent to it river Teesta flows in a vibrant current.

 
       
  Day 2:

Tour around Gangtok including Rumtek Monastery, Flower show, Hanuman Tok, Institute of Tibetology, Tashiview Point, Chorten Stupa. Rumtek is one of the biggest monasteries in Sikkim, which was built in the year 1960 by His holiness 17th Karmapa who fled Tibet due to Chinese aggression. Flower Show houses large number of flower as well the ornamental plants of Sikkim. During the flowering season, exhibitions and competitions are held here. Sikkim has around 4000 species of flowering plants. Hanuman tok situated at hilltop has a Hanuman Mandir and during the clear weather Kanchendzonga range can be view at its best. Institute of Tibetology houses large number of Buddhist scriptures as well acts as museum. Tashiview point provides an excellent view of Mount Kanchendzonga and far-flung North Sikkim Villages. Telescopic view of mountains is available. Chorten stupa is situated near Tibetology.

 
       
  Day 3:

Day trip to Tsomgo-Babamandir/Nathula Pass.
Tsongo Lake, Babamandir and Nathula are situated in high altitude area. Tsong is at 12400 feet, Babamandir app. At 13000feet and Nathula is at 14600 feet. Tsongo Lake is an alpine lake with lots of rainbow trout though it is a sacred lake of Sikkim. Visitors are not allowed to do boating and entering the lake. Baba mandir is situated much higher with a mandir established and maintained by 17th Mountain Brigade. Baba Harbajan a soldier who perished in a gushing river in 1960 re surfaced to protect the border of Indo-China.

 
   

Nathula pass is gateway to Tibet and before Chinese aggression this used to be only a silk route to Lhasa. Nathula to Lhasa is only 470 kms. In near future this route is being re- opened to start Indo-China Trade. Gangtok to Tsongo?Baba Mandir drive is one of the most interesting as it provides an altitudinal changes along with the vegetation changes. During winter the region is full of snow. Nathula is opened for visitors on the following days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tour has to be organized by recognized local travel agent.

  Day 4: Gangtok drive Lachen, 128kms, should take 6-7 hours.
Lachen is a remote tribal village, which is overlooked by snow-clad peaks.
 
       
  Day 5: Visit Gurudongmar and drive back to Lachen drive further to Lachung.  
       
  Day 6: Visit Yumthang, 24 km drive back to Lachung drive further to Gangtok.  
       
  Day 7: Gangtok drive Pelling, 125kms, 5 hours. Half day sight seeing around monasteries.  
       
  Day 8: Pelling drive Khecheoplari lake and back to Pelling.

  Day 01 :

Arrival New Jalpaiguri or Bagdogra . On to Pelling (150 Kms/5 Hrs)
Welcome to your ' Sikkim - The Mystical Highlands ' tour! On arrival at the Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station (on your own), you will be met by our office Executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Pelling. Arrive Pelling & check into the hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.

 
       
  Day 02:

Pelling
After breakfast drive to Yuksom (35 Kms/2 Hrs) on way visit Khecheopalri Lake, it is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface is picked by a bird. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening Back to Pelling. Overnight at hotel.

 
       
  Day 03: Pelling/Gangtok (116 Kms/5 Hrs)
Transfer for Gangtok. Overnight at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities.
 
       
  Day 04:

Gangtok
This is a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (departure in the morning) - situated at a height of 3,780 meters with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Return Back to Gangtok. Overnight at hotel.

 
       
  Day 05:

Gangtok/Lachung (117 Kms/5 Hrs)
Today you will drive to Lachung, en route visit the Phodong Monastery and halt at Lachung village. Evening at leisure to explore the beautiful Himalayan village on your own. Overnight at hotel.

 
       
  Day 06:

Lachung - Yumthang - Gangtok (114 Kms/5 Hrs)
Early morning proceed on a half day excursion to Yumthang Valley at an altitude of 12,000 feet, enroute visit the Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary. Afternoon transfer to Gangtok (after breakfast, 117 kilometers / 05 hours), on the way, see mighty Kanchendzonga from Singhik (subject to good weather condition). Overnight at hotel.

 
       
  Day 07: Gangtok
Go for a half day sightseeing covering Rumtek Monastery, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday), Flower Show. Overnight at hotel.

  Sikkim Tour

  Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur which takes about 45 minutes. You will then take a drive from Bhadrapur to Kakarivitta (Eastern Border town of Nepal ). You will undergo with some custom formalities and then drive to Gangtok by jeep which takes about five hours. Stay overnight at hotel.  
       
  Day 02: Gangtok - Changu- Gangtok
This morning after breakfast, head for a full day excursion to Changu. We start driving above Gangtok along the mystical environs and reach an enchanting Changu lake after about one and half hours. A lake is nestled amidst high peaks at an altitude of 12,400 ft. Spend some time here; you can also enjoy a yak ride. (Lunch at Changu) After this visit we drive back to our hotel refresh and relax. This evening is free for you to stroll around on your own or go for shopping. Stay overnight at hotel.
 
       
  Day 03:

Full day sightseeing tour in and around Gangtok. Tour includes visit to:
Tashi View Point: From here ,you could have a view of Mt Kanchandzonga and other peaks of the Himalayas . One can have an experience of the changes in colour of snows of the mountains there.

 
   

Enchey Monastery: It is situated adjoining the Siniolchu Tourist Lodge, 3 kms from Gangtok town. This monastery is an important seat of the Nyingma order, the Enchey Monastery is built on the site blessed by Lama Druptob Karpo, a tantric master know for his power of flying. This 200 years old monastery has in its premises images of Gods, Goddesses and other religious objects. Every year, around January, 'Chaam' or religious masked dance is performed with great fanfare for two days.

 
   

Rumtek Monastery: This famous monastery is also known as Dharma Chakra Centre. This monastery is one of the most important seats of the Kagyu lineage outside Tibet . In the early 1960's, His Holiness the Sixteenth Gyalwang Karmapa founded this seat near the 300 year old Kagyu monastery built in the sixteenth century by the Fourth King of Sikkim under the guidance of the ninth Karmapa. The new Rumtek monastery was built about two kilometers away from this old monastery. Rumtek became the International Kagyu Headquarters during the life of His Holiness, from where lineage activities manifested throughout the world. It also became the residence of a new generation of Kagyu masters, who are being trained in a tradition of study and meditation practice which began 800 years ago. Stay overnight at hotel.

 
       
  Day 04:

Drive from Gangtok to Peling. Visit two famous monasteries. Morning transfer to Pemayangtse (65kms/4.5hrs), this is the nearest motorable point from Mt. Kanchendzonga , worlds 03rd highest peak, one can enjoy the spectacular Eastern Himalayan Range from this place. Stay overnight at hotel.

 
       
  Day 05:

Enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Kanchanjunga (8585m) and other mountain peaks of the range. In the western district of Sikkim, Pemyangtse is a picture perfect destination. It offers a breathtaking view of the world's 3rd highest peak of Mount Kanchendzonga. Stay overnight at hotel.

 
       
  Day 06:

Visit Khecheopalri Lake and Yuksom (the old capital of Sikkim ). You go for full day excursion to Khecheopalri Lake and to Yuksam and back. Yuksam is the entry point where all the trekking starts for the assault on the eastern Himalayas . Stay overnight at hotel.

 
       
  Day 07:

Drive Peling to Kakarvita ( India - Nepal Border) via Siliguri. Drive to Bhadrapur and fly from Bhadrapur to Kathmandu . Stay overnight at hotel.

  Day 4:

Gangtok drive to Lachung, 126kms.
Lachung is situated in around 8500feet with total tribal cultural and is one of the remote area. Scenic beauty while traveling to Lachung is at its best with long cascading water falls.

 
       
  Day 5:

After breakfast visit Yumthang (halt at Lachung) valley where there is a hot spring and the river runs through the middle of the valley. All around snow clad peak surround the valley.Before Yumthang, Singba Rhodendron Sanctuary shelter numerous species of Rhodendron which are in bloom during the spring time.

 
       
  Day 6: Lachung drive to Lachen/Thangu (halt at Thangu)  
       
  Day 7: Visit Chopta Valley/ Gurudongmar later drive back to Gangtok.  
       
  Day8: To Namchi via the Temi Tea Garden estate and halt at Namchi.  
       
  Day 9:

Tour around Namchi; visit Samdruptse which means in Bhutia language ?The Wish Fulfilling Hill?.-a 135 ft unique statue of Guru Padmasambhava is installed at the of Samdruptse.-highest statue in the world.;Flower festival-venue at children park.-with rare species of Orchids with a riot of colors.

 
       
  Day 10: To Pelling via Ravangla. :  
       
  Day 11:

Tour around Pelling : including Rabdentse ruins, Pemayangtse Monastery.
Rabdentse palace ruins are covered with thick forest. It was the second capital of Sikkim before shifting to Tumlong later to Gangtok. Pemayangtse monastery is the premier monastery of Sikkim. View of mount Kanchendzonga is at its best.

 
       
  Day 12:

To Yuksom.:-the first capital of Sikkim.-is connected by all weather road from Pemayangtse, a distance of 32 kms.The trek to Dzongri and to the base camp of the famous Mt. Khangchendzonga begins here

 
       
  Day 13: Trip around Yuksom.(halt here). . Three learned monks later consecrated put the first king of Sikkim Chagdor Namgyal on throne. Though first capital of Sikkim, Yuksom is still a remote place in Sikkim. Yuksom is the gateway to Kanchendzonga Trekking. Norbugang Chorten is the place where king was put on throne. Dubdi Monastery little hike up is one of the oldest monasteries of Sikkim. It was established soon after the coronation of first King. Yuksom is covered by sharp hills with rich vegetations. It is tranquil and people are welcoming.  
       
  Day 14:  Drive back to Gangtok. Plus some sightseeing around Gangtok.  
       
  Day 15 : Drive Bagdogra/NJP/Siliguri.
