Mt.Kailash Tour 13 Days

Trip Introduction

Mt.Kailash is situated at a height of 6714m.above sea level. four Major religions of the world, for Buddhism, Jainism, Bompo (a religion prior to Buddhism in Tibet) and Hinduism, Mount Kailash is the spot of utmost reverence. For the Buddhists, Kailash is the center point of the universe. Kailash is the Mount Ashtapada, a very holy place of pilgrimage. For the Bompo followers, Kailash is the nine-faced swastika mountain and is constantly emanating great power. For the Hindus Kailash is the Sumeru Parvat, the spiritual center of the world around which all the earthly powers revolve. If there are heaven abodes on earth, Mt. Kailash & Mansarovar Lake is to be treasured as the most celestial. Its flames give birth to four great Asian rivers the Indus, Bramaputra, Ganges.
Mt.Kailash Yatra is a Spiritual quest and a Pilgrimage tour in Tibet.The darshan of Mt.Kailash and its parikrama along with spiritual bath in Holy Lake Manasarovar is the goal of Kailash yatra.

Day 01: Katmandu (1300m.) Arrival, our representative will meet at the airport then transfer to Hotel and Program briefing at the evening, dinner, overnight stay in Katmandu.

Day 02: Equipment checking,overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Katmandu to Nyalam (3700m.- 160kms.) This is the first day of the Yatra. Very early with pack breakfast depart from Katmandu to China border by reserved tourist coach. It takes about 05 hours. check into Tibet - an autonomous part of China. After lunch drive to a small Tibetan town called Nyalam. Overnight stay at Guest House. 

Day 04: Nyalam full day acclimatization - Full day free for excursion of Nyalam city.

Day 05: Nyalam to Dongba/ Paryang (4500m.- 375kms)  After breakfast drive from Nylam to Dongba for about 08:00 hours. Overnight stay at Guesthouse.

Day 06: Dongba/Paryang (4500m.-335kms) to Mansarovar - After breakfast drive from Dongba to Mansarovar 07:00 hours.Conducting Mansarovar Parikrama. This is the first day stay at the bank of the Manasarovar Lake. This is the first day stay at the bank of the Manasarovar Lake, Overnight stay at Guesthouse.

Day 07: Mansarovar to Darchen (4600m.- 110kms.)  We will choose the special point to take dip in Manasarovar Lake and conducting Pooja, hawan and spiritual activities according to your tradition. Drive around 2.30 hrs to Darchen and overnight stay at Guesthouse. excursion can be done at extra cost.

Day 08: Darchen to Diraphuk (4890m.- 12kms.) This is the first day of Kailash Parikrama. We should start our journey after breakfast as early as possible. This day we drive up to yumdwari and start walking continuously for about 6 to 7 hours. Horse can be hired at extra cost those who cannot walk. Yak will carry the kitchen untensils and equipment. Overnight stay at mud house or tent on the basis of availability.

Day 09: Diraphuk to Zhulthulphuk (4790m. - 22kms.) This day is bit complex journey and we have to pass Dolma-La Pass, which is 5400 meter in hight, The weather is unpredictable in Doma-la Pass and at any time snowstorm can fall. So we try to start our journey as early as possible. In route we can have Darshan of Gaurikund but it is very difficult to go and touch. Overnight stay at mud house or tent on the basis of availability.

Day 10: Zhulthulphuk to Paryang - We will Trek down to Darchen, catch our vehicle and Drive to Mansarovar fill up spiritual jaal, later our tour starts back for Kathmandu following the same route and same system applies for all subjects of our accommodation and meal Overnight stay at guesthouse in Paryang.

Day 11: Paryang to Nyalam - Drive back to Nyalam, which is the last stay in Tibet part.

Day 12: Nyalam to Katmandu - After custom formalities we will be picked up by Nepal side and continue drive to Kathmandu for about 05.00 hours and check in at Hotel.

Day 13: Flight back to home

TOUR CANCELLATION:
Passengers can cancel their tour 30 days before their departure; of which the former prepaid booking charge will not be refunded. Please send your cancellation by fax or email, Oral cancellation will not be entertained. Cancellation charges per person : 30 or more days prior to departure Rs 25,000 non refundable. 07 to 30 days prior to the departure upto 50 % of the yatra cost. 07  or  In case of no show or cancellation after tour has commenced 100 % of yatra cost.

We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements or itinerary, we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will inform you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning valid reasons to you. If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (for bad weather, Political reason/Permit delay) we shall try to offer you alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn't already commenced, but if the tour has already commenced we shall refund the booking price charged from you on a pro - rata basis depending on portion of the tour standing utilized by you.

2.Freshly cooked 3 vegetarian meals and morning / evening tea or soup with snacks every day by our experienced cook / Sherpa staff.
3. Mineral water will be supplied in Jerry cans for drinking purposes.
4.All Camping equipments (tent, mattress, dinning tent, kitchen tent, kitchen utensils, tables, chairs, toilet tent , sleeping bag etc )-
5. Duffle bag (bag for keeping personal clothes & equipments) 
6. Accommodation as per itinerary in clean comfortable guesthouses throughout the trip.

8.Yaks with yak drivers for carrying only camping luggage & cooking equipment's during the Kora.

1.If need Services of Ponies & Porter during Kailash Kora, early request to our guide is necessary and the cost will be borne by guest on the spot. Beware of the possible risk being thrown out by the ponies.
2.Any expenses of personal nature such as travel insurance, drinks, laundry, telephone / fax calls, porters or arranging additional transportation.
3.Any additional expenses caused by reasons beyond our control such as natural calamities ( landslides, floods), flight delays, rescheduling or cancellations, any accidents, medical evacuations, riots, strikes, evacuation costs , visa splitting charges etc.
4.If needed, charges for a special JACKET to prevent from Tibet cold conditions.
